I admit I'm not exactly a Florina user, but that doesn't influenciate my love of her personality. So are Fiora and Farina, and the Wyvern Riders/Lords Heath and Vaida. Oh, like she was the ONLY one vulnerable to arrows. * Her stats suck! She keeps getting herself killed! She hero-worships Lyn and even kisses her on the cheek in the end to Lyn's story, but you can potentially pair her up with none other than the "ho" of the game, *Hector* (just like her sister Farina). Pffffft.ĮTA: The closest to a canon sexual preference for Florina is *bisexuality*. Which, for me, just *happens* to be EliwoodxNinian. But if you don't like it, do NOT bash Flori because she threatens your Lyn OTP, just like you shouldn't bash Ninian for threatening your Eliwood OTP. It's okay not to be fond of every single pairing. They can bring the best out of each other. It has a rather decent ground to stand on: they've been friends from quite a while, Lyn dotes on her, Flori looks up at Lyn and her main motivation is to be useful to her, etc. I adore Lyn/Kent, Lyn/Hector and Lyn/Rath, but in fact I also like Lyn/Florina a lot. You know, it's really smart to judge someone because of his/her possible sexual preference. * She's a lesbian! KEEP YER HANDS OUT & AWAY FROM LYN! This is combined with her natural shyness, and. Florina is shy and insecure, but she still struggles with her flaws to become stronger and do what she must do.Īnd so what if it took Flori a while or more to warm up to guys? Remember, only *females* can be Pegasus/Falcon Knights in the game - this means, Florina has spent most of her life around *girls* (principally her sisters, both women of very strong tempers, and one of them being also VERY overprotective), so she's not used to be around guys. please let me join the fight!" (female) or "Uhm. And even after her awful run-down with the bandits and being scared of Wil (thoug it was mostly because he was an archer), we have her asking the tactician "I won't give up. In fact, who gave Fiora her spirits back after her unit of Peg Knights was slaughtered, saving her from practically killing herself by battling the Black Fang on her own? Yep, Florina. Lyn has quite the trust in Florina's abilities, and later Florina's rolemodel and eldest sister Fiora also comes to appreciate this. Specially if we talk about a girl form *Ilia*, a place with extremely cold weather and very rough life conditions. A wussy little girl wouldn't be able to do it succesfully enough to become one of the most trusted advisors of Lady Lyndis of Caelin. In fact, she's a Pegasus Knight, which means she must learn at least to: handle long-range weapons like lances, javelins and spears (and short-ranfe ones when you're a Falcoknight) *and* train/mount pegasi. This doesn't automatically mean she's wussy and waifish. Okay, so Florina is very shy and somewhat insecure. And I've fallen for practically all the characters: the Ni siblings, the three lords (Lyn, Hector, Eliwood), "uncle" Marcus (I and my sister affectionally call him like that because we keep using him to rescue injured charas and defeat The Bosses), the Pegasus/Falcon Knight sisters (though none of us has gotten Farina :P ), Merlinus, Sain, Kent, Lucius, Canas, Erk, Serra, etc.Īnd there's a character who I love, yet in the few times I've ventured into the FE7 fandom, is either bashed or horribly misrepresented: Florina, the lilac-haired girl who's the youngest of the Pegasus Knight sisters. That game has stolen my brains for the biggest part of the summer, and actually that's a feat for me since, as you people may know, my specialities are puzzle and fighting games, so it's rare for me to being hooked up in strategy ones. Thank you for introducing me to Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken, sarajayechan.
